Hey is that Duratex finished?Subaru Outback, on my other enclosure sub fires up and port faces back
Yes it is. I recommend that product 1000% if people want a tough finish that looks great. Easy to use and very forgiving. I've used it on my home theater subwoofer as well.Hey is that Duratex finished?
Nice, looks great, sealed box is getting the duratex I have leftover haha. The sub is a Stereo Integrity HT18 in a martycube enclosure.
Even my big sub enclosure has it also.
You'll notice a diff right away....like why did you go with sealed to begin with?!I have an original 12" Icon in a 1.1ft^3 sealed enclosure in a (JDM) Subaru Legacy GT wagon and it sounds great. The Icon is facing rear and the sweet spot in my wagon is on the left (looking forward). It definitely abuses my rear hatch! Aaron was a big help with how big the sealed enclosure should be. I'm thinking of building a ported enclosure just to see the difference.
I bet that 18 wangs...Nice, looks great, sealed box is getting the duratex I have leftover haha. The sub is a Stereo Integrity HT18 in a martycube enclosure.
Fabric? no. Plain wood is better. Yes it's like rhino liner.Duratex is that like the rhino liner? Does it serve any other purpose besides looks? Kinda like the idea and might try it over some type of fabric.

I might try that. Why say no to fabric? I was just thinking something like a fleece other than carpet. Something with a design. I mean it's in my trunk so it's soley just for me.Fabric? no. Plain wood is better. Yes it's like rhino liner.

i'd fire it to rear., but then again i'd keep that nice *** ported box lol., u coulda gave it to me.. my new will be here today and it won't free..Thanks for the informed reply. Where can I get a cut sheet for those suggested parameters? Also should I mount the sub upward firing like my ported enclosure or towards the rear of the vehicle?
