It took lots of work. I definately put my heart and soul into making it one of the nicest looking boxes I've ever built. This is the first time I've ever used wood filler to even out the holes. I sanded it down with 60 grit to make everything perfectly even, then smoothed it out with 150 grit, then 220 grit. Making the hole was an interesting experience. I don't have an 18" jig, so I put a screw in the middle of the baffle and measured 8.25 inches (the cutout is supposed to be 16.375") and tied a string to the screw and a pencil and drew a circle. I measured all around to make sure it was even before I cut.
Blood and sweat went into this box. Literally. Almost tears. I had to sand off the place where it smashed my toe to get the blood off //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/sick.gif.b1847c8dabbfeeddbcf1a78052249e10.gif
