connecting pda phone to HU -Pioneer premier mp680p

i have a cingular 8125 pda phone that i try to connect to my headunit through the AUX input. however when i connect them, nothing happens. anybody know a way to fix this?

What are you trying to do? Play mp3s from it?

yea i connected my phone to the headunit and went to eindow media on my phone and try to play a song, but nothing happens on the headunit.

Are you using the headphone jack on your phone connected to the Aux input on the face-plate? On the pioneers you have to turn on the Aux inputs. It is in the setup menu when the unit is turned off.
