So it was by shear coincidence that my vacation trip took me to Calgary at the same time there was a DB Drag happening (Sunday July 29). Corey was in a pickle as he didn't have any working subs for his setup so I brought down a couple of SPL-15's for his car (he originally had two DD 18's). Needless to say he was able to get second on both DB Drag and BassRace using the SPL-15's and two SounDigital SD-8000.1's.
Big Dave was also able to make it with his truck in operating condition. I received some very nice back massages thanks to the movie he played for me. All I can say is his setup is ultra sweet and very balanced. Despite the fact that Dave's system was not meant for sheer volume he was able to pick up 1st place in DB Drag and 1st place in BassRace. Since he only had about a 10 minute crash course in how BassRace worked, he was able to beat out his competitor. Good job Big Dave!
