What's this mean? That you are running the amp beyond it's capabilities, increasing the chances of damaging it.

You are only going to get a max of 300w out of that amp. Wire one vc to each channel.

230w x 2 @ 2ohms means the each amplifier channel will output 230w with a 2ohm load connect to each individual channel.
Now, you do not have a 2ohm load connected to each individual channel. You have a 2ohm load bridged to the amp....or, essentially, a 1ohm load on each channel.

just hook up 1 VC to each channel like pat said. You really need a new amp.

just take a positve and negative from one side of the sub and run it to one chanel of the amp and do the same thing for the other side.

the way you have it now, your essentially running 920w give or take. and thats BAD, that amp isnt stable at 2ohm mono. you do need a new amp

Instead of wiring one coil to each channel, you can just wire the coils in series and leave the amp bridged:

x2 = per channel.

With a 2ohm load on each channel, each channel will output 230w RMS.

But the amp is not 2ohm mono (bridged) stable.

no i mean ALL of it, w6 included...i want something not quite so costly so i can finish my install....and when the money situation gets better i can try to go the JL route again...

but if i decide to keep the w6, would the directed 750d be a good choice to run it...it will do 400X1@2, but i have heard that they are a little underrated too..
