Confused with strapping and all

I have four Sundown SAZ-1500Ds and two dual 1 ohm BTLs.

I'm thinking about strapping two per BTL to get each amp to see 1 ohm (correct me if I'm wrong, I **** at this)

What's confusing the hell out of me is this:

I have one pair of RCAs from the sub out of my head unit ran to the back. I was under the impression I could run those into the RCA inputs on one amp, run RCAs from outputs to inputs on the second amp, etc.

But look: http://sundownaudio.com/products/saz-1500d_controls_LG.jpg

Two inputs on left, BR IN and BR OUT on right.

Here's the manual, http://sundownaudio.com/products/SAX-100.2%20SAZ-1500D%20manual_0607.pdf maybe someone could help me figure this out (draw up a full diagram)

Off the bat, you would wire the BTL to 2ohms so each amp would see a 1 ohm load...now, if you had dual 2ohm BTL's you could wire it so each amp sees a .5 ohm load //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/yumyum.gif.0556df42231b304b9c995aefd13928a8.gif

Was going to get a dual 2 recone for my one BTL and buy the second BTL as a dual 2, but Scott @ Fi said the motors were different and that it wasn't just a recone, so I bought the second sub as a dual 1.

I will eventually replace them with dual 2s.

Kewl, well tabbing through the manual you need to run RCA's from the sub-out of the HU to the input's on both master amps...then from there, run a single RCA from the master's BR Out to the slaves BR In. Wiring looks pretty straight-forward; wiring the positive leads to one amp and the negatives to the other. The only thing I dont understand is the 8awg link they have in one diagram...if someone could explain that...

The subs negative post will go to the slaves amps positive terminal. The subs positive post will go the master amps positive terminal. 1 RCA cable will go from the master amps BR out to the slave amps BR in. A piece of speaker wire will go from the negative terminal on the master amp to the negative terminal on the slave amp. This is used to complete the circuit. Only the master amps controls will work.

The diagram in the manual is great to look at while wiring it up.

strapping > daisy chaining......me ol'd 1501d's were strappable but id still have to carefull set the gains on each, i just i just ran 1 per voice voice coil....wish i could just set one amp and then it control the other amp......sundown's ftw //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
