confused about this dang memphis amp..????

ok i just bought the 16mc500d here on the forum and ive been searching it and it says its a MONO amp, well how come it has two channels on it??? a little help plz

That is still a mono amp. It just has two sets of speaker outputs to make wiring a little easier. More than likely, it is internally bridged and you will only need to use one set of speaker terminals. It just makes it easier with multi-sub setups. One sub to each output terminal, etc.

no it does not matter. it is so you can wire 2 subs with out having to put it on one channel. but it does not matter you can put it on the left side channel, right side channel or bridge it. it will get the same power.
