confused about people "comparing" subs

I search and read all these posts about people comparing subs that are not even in the same class. I see people comparing type r's to RE XXX's and sx's, RL-P's to magnums and AVA's. Most say type r> others. Power means NOTHING!@!! for the most part. and why cant you compare an RL-p with an Avalanche?

No you are correct. People compre two totaly different drivers often.

RL-p and magnum not that bad. Type-r and XXX bad comparison.

Some people probably do like the Mag better.

But the Rl-p, Avalanche and Magnum are all definitley in the same class of subwoofers.
