Hey I am looking to install 3 6.5 mid woofers and one 3.5 tweeter in each door. What is best options for amp and speaker? confused with the 2-4-8 ohm and parallel-series options

There is no "best option" unfortunately. More info on the impedance per speaker would help get you the answers you need.

But to at least jump start the conversation, I'd suggest a 4 channel amp. Some you can run your mids and highs on at the same time and set your crossover points so you don't blow your tweeters

Three 8 ohm mids wired in parallel would be 2.67 ohms.

Nominal resistance is resistance to DC electricity

Impedance is basically fluid AC resistance as a woofer is playing. Consistent-as-possible impedance will result in a more balanced and stable system, overall.

You need to find a crossover that will handle what you’re trying to do and a powerful enough amp, or you should independently run your mids and highs on separate amps or channels.

Ohms are ohms, so nominal resistance in ohms is static resistance (without the woofers playing). Typically you never want lower than 2 ohms, and 4 ohms probably sounds better, overall. You could power those 3 door speakers per side with a massive 2 channel like said above by pop, and just get a small amp for the tweets.

I would go up to 4 door speakers, if possible, because you could get 4x 4ohm single VC’s, and series/parallel them to 4 ohms.

You can always get a bridgeable 4 channel, too, instead of a massive 2 channel.
