cone area vs air space?

im putting a system into a 84 mini cooper right hand drive

in the trunk i have about 4cubes to work with max

i plan to go sub forward and port up thur the back deck

not sure if im gonna go with a slot port or some 4 or 6in areo ports

i like the idea of areo ports thur the back deck, i'll look nicer

and they will be facing up at the back glass

anyways i have a pair of audiomobile mass motors

i think but im not sure they are tc-9 motors?

anyways im gonna recone them and my question is

2 12's ported with a max of 4cubes

or recone one of the motors into a 15

and a single 15 ported in the max of 4cubes air space?

i plan to run a opti 2kd or a mtx 1501d amp

220amp alt, 2/0ga wire

2 12"s should be ok in 4cf net. but 1 15" would slam too. i vote for 2 12"s because of the cone area

you might want to do some inital calculations and see if 2 12's ported can be done. port length is a function of box size and might not be possible...just a thought. I'd prefer 2 12's if they'll fit.
