Conductive Bolts?

are there special bolts i should be looking at or will anything be fine?

You could try to find solid copper bolts at your nearest electric store. They are pretty pricey tho but any other regular bolt will conduct electricity. I hate Doing anything to terminals or bolts because any connection between the amp and subs will cause more resistance. I like to just drill the hole the diameter of the 8ga wire any pull that bish through straight to the coils.

are you talking about instead of terminal cups? another solution is binding posts. Partsexpress sells some real nice ones

resistance of a 1.5 - 2" steel bolt can't be much at all.

yeah, binding posts? They sell those in stores because i'm doing the build today rather not wait for a shipment

Not much, but resistance that dont need to be there. Why pay for resistance?

Also radioshack may not have them, try a plumbing store too or like an ACE hardware or Air Gas

wouldn't an all thread rod and wing nuts ultimately be the same as a bolt.

I'll try and pair of copper ones if it'll make a difference.
