concept 1200 question

i have 2 kicker 10 L7s in a sealed box, and im feeding them 600 a piece from a 1200 watt concept amplifier. If i put the gain beyond 1/5 the red LED on the amp starts blinking and the amp shuts off and restarts. I have a feeling my system is suppose to be alout louder than what its at right now, however the amp just turns off when i put the gain up...... i have a scion tc if that helps anyone

Oh man...

Set the gains the right way. Follow the tutorial in the Amp section.

Your amp is saving itself from you. Without the protection, you would have fried it.

yea they are good amps... i'm thinking either your gain is set wrong or a wire is crossed somewhere gives the amp a crazy low impedance... like .5 or something... make sure it's wired to one ohm...
