Computer Scanning question... Resizing

well im trying to upload some old pics i had to send to a few friends, and all i had were the 4x6 pics, so i scanned them to my computer from an spson printer / scanner.. is there something i can do because its taken over an hour for 80 pics and there still not done uploading yet.. there an average file size, ( around 300kb ) But the dimensions are around 1800x1200 , where can i change this to maybe get them to upload faster? to like 640x480 or something

actually , can u resize a bulk of pics on irfanview? that would be easier , but i dont know if u can

physical size is irrelavat, you can have a 1" 5000 dpi picture and it will take longer to upload than a 300dpi50x50 one,

just be patient

hmm, whats weird is 50 of these pics take over an hour , but when i transfered 50 pics or so from my iphone then uploaded on the same site in bulk it took less than 5 minutes

So theres nothing i can do even tho every other pic of mine is around 640x480 pixel size and these are 1800x1200? just cant figure it out, maybe theres something in the scanner setup or something i didnt look at..

edit*** and the 80 pics just got done now... file upload error.. wtf...
