I like this idea.
could you recommend a router for me that will do this that isnt to overly exspensive.

D-Link DIR-655 is kinda pricy for my tastes.

Linksys WRT54GL is probably the cheapest router I'd fell somewhat confident in recommending ... Anything cheaper is a piece of shit ...
