Computer ppl.. Desktop is taking forever to load....

Out of the 33 process you have running, here is some I would personally close. Remeber if anything goes wrong when closes process's just restart and start over, can't really mess anything up closing them. If you close a vital process to run your computer it tells you that you ****ed up and it will automatically restart your comp in 60 seconds.

C:\WINDOWS\eHome\ehRecvr.exe

C:\WINDOWS\eHome\ehSched.exe

C:\PROGRA~1\TRENDM~1\INTERN~1\PcCtlCom.exe

C:\PROGRA~1\TRENDM~1\INTERN~1\Tmntsrv.exe

C:\PROGRA~1\TRENDM~1\INTERN~1\TmPfw.exe

C:\PROGRA~1\TRENDM~1\INTERN~1\tmproxy.exe

C:\Program Files\Hewlett-Packard\Shared\hpqwmiex.exe

C:\Program Files\Canon\CAL\CALMAIN.exe (for your camera, if you use your cam and it doesnt detect it/work good you can just restart and it will fix the problem.)

C:\PROGRA~1\TRENDM~1\INTERN~1\PcScnSrv.exe

C:\PROGRA~1\TRENDM~1\INTERN~1\PccGuide.exe

C:\WINDOWS\system32\wbem\wmiapsrv.exe

C:\Program Files\Netscape\Netscape Browser\netscape.exe (are you really using netscape?!)

I'd personally remove it and get AVG free, you can prolly find a torrent for the full version of AVG/kaspersky. I'd recommend those two over most I've used.

how long does a defrag take
Depends heavily on your amount of hd space. I have a full terabyte, so when I defrag my comp I let it go all night. IIRC you said you have a laptop so the biggest your hd would be, is like 120? Might take a few hours if you've never defrag'd before. Does help hd lifespan though.

its the internet security so theres a few things on it.. Or can i just turn off the virus protection or anything else
If it seems to help and not annoy you, why not leave it:p:. Just grab avg/something decent for virus's and let the baby scan, then grab 2-3 spyware removers and scan them, one might find 5 things wrong and the other might find 100 small bad ones.

That's were filtering your StartUp and uninstall useless stuff come into play. When you uncheck everything, obviously not everything will be loaded as it was the time before you unchecked them. Only thing I have in my startup is bluetooth manager(cell phone) and msn. I load whatever I need after that on my own.

Also be sure to go into your startup folder where come progams put shortcuts to there app's. (Start>>All Programs>>Startup)

Keep PC-Cilling. It's a good program. Especially if you already payed for it.

Delete all of the following. Reboot. Run housecall65.trendmicro.com. Run Spybot. Run AVG free antispyware. Defrag. Reboot. Run a new version of hijack this and post the log file:
