Yeah i just tried, you cant set the resolution. I dont know that i have the cds for the drivers anymore however..

Do you know what the VC is? if so just download them and burn them to a CD

Acutally if you delete the drivers and reboot you'll get default drivers that are sufficient to use the interwebs and just d/l the drivers from that comp

press f8 or f12 a bunch of times and go form there when the xp start up screen comes on

okay so where do i go to delete the drivers

right click on my computer, then click properties, then I think it's the second tab but your looking for a button called device manager. In there find video decives and under that (clikc the +) you should find a driver listed for your VC. Just right click it and then click uninstall.

there isnt a video devices.. sound, video, and game controllers maybe?

no that is for sound cards... what about display adapters (I'm at school right now and can't look for myself what it's called... but display adapters is right I think)

actually. It will boot up normally now but when i try to reset the resolution the screen goes blank. how can i fix this?
