Computer Nerds Needed Quickly!!!

I'm trying to put Maple 11.1 on my computer, but everytime i go to put it on, an error message pops up saying there is a version already installed. I have used the Add Remove Program tool to remove some files and went back through and deleted every file that consisted of the word "maple". Maple 11 is not in the Add Remove Program list nore is there a file for it. Does anybody know what else i need to do to get it off my computer? And yes, it is a legit version. 3 other people have it on their computers and it works fine. We are all running Vista fyi...
