ok trying to finish off my budget system and just need some decent comps

so far this is what i got

Subs: 2 kick L5s 12" dual 2 ohm

amp: Fusion nvam25001

headunit: in process of ordering http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=18797

now i need to get just some front comps cuz i blew my factory.... which sux cuz it did sound pretty good factory.

anyways this is just a budget system not really good huge on anything

ideas:

http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=16380

http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=15353

http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=13466

http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=13545

those are just some i was looking at.... now i dont know much about crossovers either so i may need some help on this... im most likely running these off the head unit and when i finally upgrade my electical system i will add a small amp cuz i have a lil puny dual amp that i used with my clarions a long time ago.

open for oppinions or other ideas!!!

or since im running straight off the headunit and dont know much about comp sets or corssover should i use a 2 or 3 way speaker... my car already has stock tweeters so i do already have a place for the tweeters in the comp sets but i just dont know if ill get confused with the crossovers and if they will work well off the headunit for now

true but im trying to just find a decent one that will just give me some sound since my factory ones sound like junk now.... ill prob just go with the hifonics since they cheapest.

If I was you I would just get some decent co-axials. They will do just fine, althought those componets listed would be around the same price for decent co-axials.

The PG Rsd's are decent for the money, much better than anything you listed. I had them and ran them for about 3 months. Good budget componets. I have since then fell in love with my Pioneer Premier 720c's, which can be had for 100 bucks on newegg.com. Deffintley worth it! Hell I would pay over 200 for these as they sound better than a lot of higher end componets.

What is excatly your budget for componets?

Also just word of advice, your aftermarket speakers may not sound as good as the factory, being the aftermarket componets or co-axials require higher RMS. So till they get their RMS rating, or close to it, they won't get that loud and off the deck.

I highly suggest you look for an aftermarket amp for them.

Good luck.

i have an amp that will give them around 75-90 rms not quite sure exact but i dont really need the bass im just looking for nice crisp highs... the only reason i wasnt going to hook the amp up was the amp im running on my subs is going to knock me down a lot on my electrical system so i need to wait to add the 2nd amp till i can afford to at least add a 2nd battery or something to that extent. its an 01 buick century im not trying to build the best system or whatever just a good budget one everything ive bought so far has been very cheap for what they are.

my 2 l5s i paid 95 a piece for new

my nvam25001 fusion am i payed 200 for

im looking to spend about max 80 dollars on either co axils or a comp set. my car already has a tweeter so i figured i would go with a comp set but i just didnt know how to do the crossovers and about all this passive or active stuff. i do know that i dont have that big of a mounting depth so i need something a bit shallow. and all im looking for is highs not really worried about getting bass from them i just would like to be able to turn my subs up and at the same time be able to still hear my songs especially since most the music i listen to is rock with a lil rap in between.

so ya thats what im looking for and i do plan to amp it up eventually just need time to get the money to do everything!
