recently, my AA poly's have been sounding really crappy below 80htz, they used to play real nice and smooth, but now, between 80and 100htz, they make a terrible, kind of air-escaping noise when they move a lot in those frequencies.
BTW they're in fiberglass kicks..
does anyone have any suggestions as to what it'd be? here's what ive done to try to alleviate the problem..
-non hardening clay where the speaker meets the kick to make sure there was no air leaks
- 2 additional layers of fiberglass inside the kicks to make sure there were no air leaks
-tried polyfil, actually made it worse.
-Fixed the tinsel slap that was mentioned on here a few days ago.. did nothing.
anyone have any other suggestions?
ohh, also, Gain set at 90rms, -12db slope, crossover @ 80 htz (tried 100, and 125 htz, made little to no diffrence)
