comps letting off a smell?

Because your preouts on your radio clip at full volume which will clip your amps. You have a similar radio internally to my pioneer TV and I set my gains from about 40-45 with great results. On music that has bad recording and you want a lil more oomph...you can play it at like 47-48. However, with the rainbows I hope you only play good quality recordings...with mine any bad quality songs are very very apparent.

i've been playing with my gains a lot and really notice what you have been talking about. I tried it at full volume and heard clipping, but then i put it at 52/62 and rose my gains and sound louder with more clarity.

its basically when you buy something new, and you smell inside the bag is what it smelt like.. haha.

haha, no. but it does leave a pleasant feeling inside that makes me want to cry when i hear these speakers..
