Comps in Nissan 240

So i have an extra set of 6.5inch comps. They are entry level bostons. My roommate wants to buy them. He drives a mid 90s 240. Im guessing around a 94. Anyways he is getting a head unit later in the summer. I was wondering how the comps will sound if I installed them now off his factory amps? Just as a temp install untill he gets a nice head unit. The comps are Boston Acoustics SL-60.

The amps are Clarion (Well for the SE 240) and there is 2 of them from what i remember and each was mono channel i believe.

They sounded OK with the Infinity 6010s i installed in my bros car. One of them soon started distorting and making hissing noises in the speaker so a new amp was needed, but then the car got wrecked //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

You said for temp use. How long of temp use? Im sure someone is selling amps on here for cheap, i remember a month ago some1 was selling the Alpine 40x4 for like $150 which would sound a lot better than those stock Clarion amps.

Well my friend wants to get front speakers (my comps), a head unit, a sub and an amp for as little money as possible. I know they won't sound nearly as good as they would off a good amp but are they going to sound alright to the average listener? It will just be a couple weeks and then they will be powered by a nicer head unit.
