comps get quite.....

My Hu goes volume level goes up to 40. So Im setting my gains at 30 which would be 1/3. When I turn the volume up to 30 my mids get quiter like their muffled or something. play around with the crossovers and see what you get, but it isnt the cd thats for sure.

cant really play much with the CO just plug the speaker wires in and thats it...then I eq it from the HU. CO came with the CDTS...

turn the gain down a bit, kinda sounds like distortion

Hmmm.... neva thought about that..didnt think distortion could muffle the sound of your comps.. or make it get quiter..thought it might be that I wasnt getting enough power to my amp at high levels. No?
