comps and bass blockers

I was planning on getting some a component set and i wanted everybody's opinion on which to get. I was thinking of the kappa perfect's or one of mb quart's comps, but i have heard of several other good comps, like oz and focal. I want to spend around 300 dollars on the comps and will most like be running them with 100-150 watts of power. Also I know a lot of people say in the back you should just put 6.5's but an installer suggested that i get 6x9s and put bass blockers on them. Which would be better and why. Isn't the 6x9 sort of becoming a 6.5 since with the bass blocker on it plays mostly midrange. Thanks for the input.

go 6.5 insteda 6x9. i like infinity, quarts are nice for SQ too, but as we'll ALL say,

get what is pleasing to your ears. don't let other people decide for you !

everyones taste in music and how it sounds is different !@

Yeah, i know what ya mean. Every person's ears are different, plus each person has a different car and set up. The main problem is is that no one in my area carries the higher end speakers so i can go and listen to them. I have looked everywhere for quarts and the perfects but no one has them. I think i am gonna go with the perfect's because I know more about them then I do the quarts and some say the quarts can be a little bright at times. And I will start looking for some 6.5s and see what i come up with.
