Componets shut off

Hello i was wanting to find out why my front component speakers shut off when i turn the music up.I have them hooked to an old Alpine MRV-505 I'm just using it for my front 2 channels,I'm new to car audio and not sure i have the amp set right,it has so many switches on the side it is confusing,Ive used the manual to set the switches correctly and it sounds pretty good at low volume,but when i turn it up the front speakers shut off? I am using my factory stereo with 6.5 components and 1- 12 inch sub.I am using a audio control Lc6i for my LOC, I know i really don't need it,but it will let me boost the voltage a little and adds a sub channel.(i got it for $40.00 that's why i'm using it)any suggestions?

That four channel, two for fronts? The other two bridged to sub? If so, then amybe the sub is wired under 4 ohms.

It could be a low voltage issue as well
