components with ring radiator tweets

And they're not even covered //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif I'm hoping something goes over those, but I don't see any mounting holes for a grill.
Seems WAY unsafe on the floor like that, either getting stepped on, dirt/mud from shoes or whatever.

To the OP: I've been running the XT25's for about a year now and really enjoy them. Sounds is very smooth/detailed, not overly bright. At times I'd like a little more volume from them, but that's what the rear fill is for //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif
all the drivers sit behind the factory rocker..so they are way out of the way...but they are placed perfectly in the car...pld's are with in 9 inches and you sit about 6 feet away from them and soon to be farther once I extend the seat rails....

and yes I have grills....

a little different spec wise and a little better off axis response...but other than that buy the ones pictured above.....

Thanks, it just made me curious.

MiniVanMan is creeping up behind you to kick you in the back of the head. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif
Maybe he just likes the laid back sound an attenuated tweeter has like the XT25 when played off-axis. Ever think about that.... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

Anyway, I'm no coward, I'll come at you from the front. I'll usually kick you in the nuts, but at least you'll see it coming. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

If he's happy then great. Having the tweeter low will just affect stage height mostly, barring the obvious off-axis attenuation of the high end. However, it sounds like he likes that laid back sound. Sounds like a future Morel tweeter guy.

ok, so what does it take to put a component set together?. like if i was to buy different brans. how would i go about putting together the right things so that they match up and dont go ape shit after being installed in my girls truck?. say i bought some of those alpine tweeters with the crossovers, how would i go about finding a mid to match it? ( other than the alpine brand )

to be honest you can't mix and match with a pre made passive....those passives are designed for a specific driver in mind.....if you wanna mix and match...then the only true way is to go active...
