Components with a $500 budget

Actually just looking at subs and amps for right now, although ultimately I do need a box. I was thinking of attempting my own box, although I know it won't be easy. In the past Ive owned Image Dynamics 10s with a JBL amp. It worked fairly well but didnt shake my car as much as Id like. The quality was pretty **** nice though. Was hoping for a mix of the two.

Originally looking at 2 10" JL W3v3s with a JBL 500.1 (700w rms) or PG X 600.1 (600w RMS) amp to run them. But now Im thinking that W3s may not be way to go, and in fact may even switch to maybe a single 12" instead of the two 10"s.

Budget for the amp and sub(s) is right around $500, although I could go a bit higher. Open to either 2 10s or a single 12. I appreciate the help, especially for someone whos been out of the car audio scene for some time.

I think I meant components as in components (pieces/parts) of a stereo.

So you're looking for a mix of SQ and SPL? 500 is budget for amp and sub; do you already have the wiring? Does that include the cost of the box?

yeh sorry, meant audio components.

$500 is just the sub(s) + amp.

At this point Im thinking something like:

Amp

JBL PX600.2

PG X600.1

JL 500/1

Sub

2 10" W3v3

12" W6v2

12" IDQv3

Thoughts from that list? I realize I might creep closer to $600 which is fine.
