Hey, I'm new to the car stereo scene and I'm looking to get a head unit and some Components.

I got a 99' Blazer, the front speakers are 6-3/4", I listen to mainly hip hop and rock, looking for some good bass and I'm only looking to spend around 200 bucks maybe a little more. I plan on getting a sub and amp after I save a little more. Thanks for the help guys.

im guessing by components you mean front door speakers? well to be honest you could go through 200 just in a h/u so since your on a budget id look for a good used h/u or could get a cheaper one for new probably around $100-$140 will get you a decent one with all the features you need. For components you can go with real components that are in 3 pieces X-over, tweeter, and mid-woofer, or you could just get coaxials and then again you can get hooked up on here for high quality units for $60-80 or go with brand new medium quality ones for the same price. My h/u cost $55 brand new and my 6.5 components cost $60. shop around and welcome to CA.com

The major brands like Kenwood, Pioneer, Sony all have descent HU's in the low hundred mark. See which one you like and you can go with the PG RSD65cs comps to put in your budget.
