YES! Finally!

I just got my 4ch amp today, got my speaker wire terminals, my ANL fuse, and my RCA splitters.

My new subs and amp should both be here by Monday!!!

I'm going to home Depot to get some MDF... I'm going to finish my floor, and start my box today.

Anyways, just really excited to get a decent system in.

PA 3000, 2 12" type R's in a ported box tuned at 32hz. I'm using a Sony Xplod 4ch amp (it was 25$.. Couldn't afford more)

The R's will be getting 800w each.

So nothing special..

I'll get some pics if possible.

Yeah.. 220 for a wiring kit and 1700w... Pretty cheap. Also I'm using R's.. So SQ isn't a huge concern, lol.. I'm really looking for loud as possible for as cheap as possible, and it seems PA and Alpine fit right up that alley.

Alright... Got all the cuts for the box, and some of the sides up.. I kinda got gayed, my fault I guess. Also don't mind the shitty cuts on the top floor piece... It will be carpeted, and I didn't do to well with the jig-saw..//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

Yeah.. Didn't split right away.. Started splitting after it was all together, so I put some glue on it and clamped it..

The pa a3000db? if so thats a good amp for the price and R's will get loud..... and thats perfect power and if its a good built box should be crazy loud man...
Naw.. The 3000d (gothic series).. So like 300w less @1 ohm.

I'm thinking I'll just fix that little gap of mine up with some caulk? Should that do the trick?

Nice looks like its coming along pretty well. Congrats on the new system. Keep us posted. I'm lookin foward to some more construction pics and as said above sander and caulk or some nice silicone will fix nearly anything. 2 type R's should get plenty loud

Yeah... Found more imperfections.. Didn't judge the saw blade right.. There are like three cuts that are off by a saw blade... Finish nails and glue rock! So easy.. I'm caulking all the edges, and am going to finish it in a textured paint, or do you think a really glossy black would look nice? Allot more work though...

Won't be "complete" for a while... I need carpet and glue, but sadly I can't afford the 30$...

When I carpet the floor do I carpet over the amps? Or show them? Or just personal?

Is 3ft the max length for the wire from battery to fuse?
