Ok so my school is having a car show. I heard about it and was like big deal, then someone asked me if I was going into the car audio comp. I was like WTF! Yeah for like 10 bucks entry why not!

So I was told by my brother that a Guy in my school is getting

With 2000watts power

He has a flip out screen deck and I have no Idea on speakers

car is a f-150 harley davidson edition. not much room for a box doubt ported.

I was like unless he knows what he is doing he is stupid. Thats besides the point he doesn't buy anything it is all bought for him. He had 2 12 inch l7's, off 1000watts I don't know if ported but sold them for coke.

Anyways, I have a

Solo X 12'

kx 1200.1

Ported to 32hz 5cubic feet

speakers are

Type S component 6.5's

Type S Coaxils 6.5 all in front doors

Running off Alpine V12 amp 45 x 4 Channel.

H/U is a CDA-9853

Wiring 0/1awg big 3

optima battery

and H.O alt hopfully

Viper alarm

Now the contest just isn't on sound and SPL because HE would probably own me in SQ, But I would hope I have him in SPL, in reality my system is better I would think because I purchased mine my self. his is bought by his grandfather. I know more about car audio then he does so I am more noligable then him thats why i think I should win, but he has money so he might win, the thing is I know about tuning and electrical upgrades which is all apart of a audio system, not ust subs and a amp.

The fact is there is prizes and I want to win. **** kids with rich parents.

End of rant. anyone have any input on who you think would win.

it isn't on a tl or mic it is based on

overall system all the components

they will listen to the systems

and judge for them selfs, it is the automechanics teachers but I am good friends with the teachers since I raced with one at the oval track here. I just don't want to loose to a rich ***** kid!

Someone that sells a system(2 L7's) for a bag of coke is fackin dumb! he is a dumb kid with rich parents and knows nothing about car audio he just buys it and has everything installed from a shop. I installed all of mine but the alarm.

yes:crap: I know but I can't afford a 2500, I only bought the sub for 400. I am not a 30 year old guy with steady income I am only 17 and go to school full time. then work 5pm till 10pm monday to friday with car payments and gas and go out to movies and stuff not like i have tonz of money.

Senior year for me so i get off school at 11:45 and work till 5.

then i work 7-5 when i dont have school.

managind school a job then stereos in there gets a little crazy.

my paychecks usually go straight towards more audio equipment.

some of the next paycheck of mine is goin into an Epicenter i think.

i bought my sub (audioque hd10) for 400 and my re 35.1 (1600w) for $300 hell get a orion 2500d for like 450

yeah most of my money goes to car audio to but I have to stop soon, there are some have to gets now for the system like alt and battery then im done unless I come accross a cheap 2500.
