The SI mags were a db louder than re sx's in my application

x2 on the mags, plus they don't need much power to get loud... i have 2 runnin off 800 watts a piece and it gets loud for me, but when i drop my amp to .5 ohms and give them around 1400-1500 and they just get ridiculously loud....

those are great subs, and unless you going to run mt's you wont find many subs that get that loud for that price
