compatible alternators

i need to know what other ford uses the same size but bigger than 55 amp alternator as my 75 lincoln ...it has a 460cu 7.5 litre gas ******* like there is no tommorrow v8

the reason im asking is my buddy has a credit for a local parts store and if i could find a stock alt rated at higher amperage that fits id be fine for a while ..

I don't know about a bigger alternator for that model of car. All I know is the way alot of people where I'm from fix the problem is take it to a shop and get the alternator built up, to push more amperage.
