Comparing amplifiers

I own an Earthquake ph5000, I love the amp but its very hard to find another one so i was thinking about just buying a couple power acoustik ps1-5500d's. Will this be alot better than just running my one earthquake. it will be one ohm doesnt matter the woofers, and im not trying to spend a ton so im not looking to go buy a couple saz's or anything like that. Let me know what yall think?

i have repaired one of those Earthquakes before, I don't think it was 5000 watts, lol probably a good solid 1500-2000 though... Maybe even 2500. What are the ratings on those other amps you are looking at as I am not familiar with those... Couple SAZ's = some dough $$$

i know the earthquakes are only rated at 3000 watts not 5k. but the PA amps are rated at 3200 watts rms obvously they dont put that out but if they are atleast 2k that would work for me

Thats about all you'll get out of it is 2k.
