comments about the rf power t2's

i just bought a pair of rf 12" t2's to replace my alpine type r's( hated them since I bought them). building a custom box to tune it at 40 hz, haven't heard how they sound yet. just wondering what every1 thinks about these. i had a pair of 12" hx2 powers awhile back, wondering if they sound better. any comments?

depends on the box...imo none of those driver are the greatest sounding subs.

What size is your box? If you're aiming for sql, tuning seems pretty high to me.

makin a 6 cubic foot ported fiberglass box, 2 chambers. tuned to 40 hz. amp is a rf 1500bd, given out plenty of power. aiming for spl more then anything.
