For sheer output, wich two sub setup would you run with 1200 watts available. Two rl-p 15s, or two Type-r 15s? They will be ported.

heard good things about the type r's lately, but the rl-p's can get awfully loud especially with that power. mine got very loud (149.3) with 1400 watts rms, and those were 12's.

I am an alpine hater, so I would go with the sound splinters but would also look at two of the old school black Kicker L5 12's. In a ported box I think they would fit this situation for a cheaper price. This is if you want complete Spl performance. They can have Sq but lose some spl to make it happen.

I completely forgot you had the rl-p's, those are crazy numbers for some 12's, what kind of box did you have them in?

3.6 cubes net tuned to 39 hz. off a pg tantrum 1200.1. also had decent sq, even at 39 hz.

it should. my setup was in a 95 jeep grand cherokee

i just dont like type R's...its a great speaker no doubt...but the Rl-p
