And BTW, we weren't stupid enough to do it on the top floor. It went from the first floor to the basement. All of 10 feet.

Hey,
I need some help here. I work in a freshman residence dorm (Dry dorm - no alcohol allowed) and me and my staff wanted to put in a wireless security system so that we could monitor these incompetent freshman better. The problem is that they sneak up alcohol and guests who trash the building through the basement. Then they usually bypass the first floor in the elevator and go straight up to whatever floor they are on. Sooo, I would like to install a small camera in the basement pointed at the door and a monitor (can be small) that could be on the first floor. There is no way to wire it because housing won't fund the project. Is there any sort of wireless system that is relatively cheap and easy to set up? Please help if you can, thanks!!

Toall of you who are bashing me, do me a favor. Pay for your own college out of loans YOU take out for yourself and work the job I work as an RA so that you get your room and board paid for, then put up with screaming banging on walls, drunk *** freshman running around and disrespecting the shit out of you, and having to get up in the middle of the night, barely ever getting a good nights sleep to stop the ****ing kids from tearing apart the dorm and screaming their ***** off. I have plenty of friends and party a lot, and the freshman know that this is a DRY dorm no acolhol allowed. If they are quiet in their rooms I could care ****ing less. Also, it's fun busting these **** stupid kids.

If they are doing all that, give them a disorderly conduct fine or whatever you have equivlent to that. and doesn't your dorm have quiet hours? If they are being loud after that time, write them up for that too.
