Hope ya get better soon. I know how ya feel about the cash though, my surgeries/hospital stay got me for around 100k

I guess the air gets trapped in the chest cavity and prevents the lung from re-expanding.

They wanted to do it tomorrow. But I want to see if I can hop on my ol' ladies insurance first. She's a nurse at the local hospitol so she gets good benefits. I can't afford $17k but I can't put my health on the line either.. Fighting the odds either way..

Well, my bro got a heart surgery back in december, and he didn't have insurance, but he applied for medical after the surgery because he didn't have enough money to pay a 100 + k surgery, and everything was covered. I actually had my lung collapse 9 times before i had the surgery to fix it ! It does hurt like a ***** . Some of the TOUGH GUYZ on this forum would be on there knees with this kinda pain crying to their mommys ! GL with the surgery , it put me out of work for over 3 months ! Over 1.5 weeks in the hospital sucks ! I feel your pain !
