If what you told me is correct its not a ground problem unless you body ground from your battery is bad , Is everything in the car working right except the amp

yes all the lights but the turn signs but that is the switch but the hazards and the head lights and high beams and the inside lights work and the engine great

Just need to check your connections and see where your losing power or ground at , i think its power problem , Start at the battery and work your way back till the power drops to the 7.5 volts or whatever from 13 volts and that your prob , The amp wont turn on with 7 somehting volts

what bout just puttin a new power wire right from the battery the fuse to the amp new fuse holder and fuse i have 8 g now and i wanna upgrade to 4 ga any ways

8 Gauge should be fine for that amp , I would find the prob first , Its not hard just hjav to trace it down
