B) Pair of tall single 4 ohm coils - ID 3.03" / OD 3.2" / WW 2.9" / FH 3.9"

4 layer aluminum coil with a split aluminum former

C) Pair of MONSTER LMS single 4 ohm coils - ID 3.03" / OD 3.44" / WW 3.5" / FH 5.5"

Variable layer aluminum coil with a split aluminum former

Will take tons of power but you will need a huge motor, lol. Use a top plate height of 12-19mm

Bet those 3" LMS coils would work nice in '02 "big gap" sig. Wish I still had a couple.

I'll bet they would. And man would they soak up the power, these things are huge. Probably wouldn't be worth much above 60Hz but they would absolutely crush everything below that, provided the soft parts can support the physical throw.
