Coil is stuck in gap, help!!!! broke in 2

actually have seen some china woofers use it even to hold down the spider.

i have blown off alot of dustcaps in my time and a nice bead of ca glue fixes this. when i recone i also put a heavy bead of ca glue around the dust cap, nevercomes off...

the black maxx is 380 what is the diff in the 410?
The 380 is 200cP viscosity and is very thin and specified for tight fitting parts. The 410 is 3500cP viscosity. It is much thicker and able to fill larger gaps.

The 4210 and 4211 are the thermally resistant CA adhesives. They are similar to the 380 and 410 but have higher heat resistance as well as better peel and sheer strength.

The CA's we found from ASI are superior in heat resistance, sheer and peel strength to even the 4210 or 4211. I was turned on to ASI by a friend who works for Bosch. They have high speed production lines for Electrovoice where they use exclusively ASI now.

You can get 1lb bottles of Matrix CA glue for only $15. It just doesn't bond well for critical joints. It's not good with heat and doesn't stick well at all to surfaces like rubber surrounds. We use it only on some spiders where the joint is fully encapsulated in the glue to assure strength.
