Coaxials or midranges?

ed 11kv2 sub

I am looking for almost all SQ and little SPL, and I have decided that although many do not suggest it, I want to put in rears. Would you suggest coaxials or midranges, and why?

Coaxials, because I rarely heard about anyone putting midranges in their rear fill.

As you said, I would also suggest not using any rear speakers, but if you insist, go with mids only. Speakers producing highs from both the front and rear can really wreak havoc with imaging.

Hmm well one of you said coacials and one mids...any other suggestions? T9X can you clarify why you wouldnt go with mids?

not MAIN mids, just some mids. if you put highs, you will def throw off the soundstage.

I run Coax's.but fade them 50%(only you can make the determination)

I do prefer a lttle something for RAF to create a more surround feel,every car is different
