CNN Republican Debates

He probably has heard the term, and probably knows the three components that comprise it. What he probably doesn't know is tactically how and when each one would be used and how the three buffer one another if under attack.
Some of the other candidates showed far deeper knowledge and all were riled up over the aging of said triad. The irony is that all three components are in the early stages of dev to be replaced. I don't think the military hardware problems have ever been a lack of funding or investment that many of the candidates keep going back to.
I'd say probably on the first, and probably not on the other three. And yes, you are correct. However, we haven't see the latest budget.

My original guess was that you must be a Trump supporter. But with you other comment possibly a Ron Paul guy.
As far as who are the victims, I'll get back to you when I have so time.
Ron Paul isn't running and Rand is a try-hard, but more or less correct. I'm actually torn between Rubio and Cruz in terms of electability. I prefer more of Cruz's policies, but he comes across as a used car salesman. Plus, I'm more moderate than Cruz is on immigration. I am more libertarian than Cruz and Rubio with respect to foreign policy. Neither carpet bombing or spreading democracy are tenable solutions.

Given the choice between Hillary or Sanders, I prefer Sanders...especially with a Republican Senate and House.

unlike pretty much everybody else. trump has some balls.. they always take what he says out of context..notice how pretty much the whole debate was based off of trumps statements.

hes not the best candidate politically.this man understands how the world world finance works. he can get a cabin of good politicians to make those decisions.

i like cruz as well. but trump.. cuz he has balls and people need to stop being woried about hurting people little feelings and do the right things.
What did he say during the debate that's taken out of context. I've watched every debate (I watch both R and D). Help me understand where I am misguided in that Trump understand the art of appearance and negotiation, but is clueless in terms of public policy.

Thanks for the correction, Rand Paul.

I believe Rubio has the best chance to win the general against Hillary. I think he would win by a big margin. But yeah Cruz is my personal favorite but i'm not certain he could win. It's kind of amazing that is be first election were i'm optimistic about the possibilities with a Republican candidate. Most elections it's simply which candidate is the less likely to mess things up any further.

The whole Trump thing is a real eye opener. He has absolutely ZERO chance of beating Hillary but he continues to gain popularity. The goal of the primary is to have a candidate that can swing the moderate vote. He might be able to beat Sanders but that's it.

IIRC some states you can vote in any primary, it would be smart for Hillary supporters to vote for Trump, and Republicans to vote for Sanders. Oops another grey area.

Not to disrupt the topic of this thread, but since its become a side-topic, I'll explain.

Rules are rules. And whether you like it or not, agree with it or not, this site's owner made a rule which Im here to enforce. You can bash Goob for it all you want, act like your rights are being trampled here because you cant use a certain term. But since you are so clearly sensitive to people's rights, Im sure you can understand Goob's intention of keeping this site friendly and inviting for all races/creeds/religions. (not directed at anyone here specifically)

This is an old topic and Im surprised to see a couple of you 'old timers' acting like this is something new around here.

Thanks guys, and cheers.

i generally come to this site when i have nothing to do or just don't feel like doing anything.. i usually come to make recommendations and help where i can and have a laugh.if you cant sallow a insult over the internet you might want to rethink life. seriously.

I'm assuming the rule has to do with nin ja and not talking about politics.

Rubio is moderate enough to win over the middle voters who just don't like Hillary. I am afraid that he may not win the nomination. If it's Cruz vs Hillary, it becomes quite the toss up as only fringe voting bases are enthusiastic about their candidate. The debates would be interesting.

I think if/when Trump loses a state or two, his persona as being a winner will crumble. It's not policy, it's his image people like. Note the comments about his balls or whatever. Having balls is not a public policy approach.
