It's simple. Just buy your 4 gauge for now and run that from the battery to the amp.

When you're ready to add another amp for your door speakers or whatever in the future, you can worry about it then. I can show you pictures of my setup tomorrow when it's light out

haha yeah i went threw a whole rehaul on my beast and went with the kicker 0/1 kit glad i did at the time i didnt really think i was gonna run this much power but i did =P. and to ccab yes, make sure you get an inline fuse/holder with the right amps too.

dont know what your talking about when you get into all that..ill just buy 30 ft of that 4 gauge and use it for my bat to amp and amp to ground

Yep...in the webpage it says it's good up to 120 or 150 amps of current, I don't remember which offhand. My 1200 watt amp only draws 80 amps of current.

Dude if your amp only accepts up to 4 gauge...then just use 4 gauge!

but if you ever plan on getting another amp in the future or might i'd go with the 0/1 kicker kit that way you just add a 4 awg to the distro block and you'd be set. if not and you're just keeping this amp 4 is great

yeah that's something i'd stay away from. if you did get the 0/1 i'd also get a 0/1 distro block that accepts 0/1 in and you can have 4awg run out of it =P

I just decided to highlight all the times you decided to not use a apostrophe. I would have pointed out your other 50 mistakes, including missing periods and run-on sentences, but then everything begins to get bolded...see the point I'm trying to make here?
