clipping??

depends how sever it is you can. Listen to most high school set ups the subs are playing higher than they should. If you want to know what clipping sounds like for a quick test, just turn your head unit to loudest listening volume u'd do just start the gain as low as you can, turn it up a little and hear how sub is suppose to sound, then just keep turning the gain eventually the sub will sound like its an octave (higher frequency) higher than it should sound, that is clipping in the easiest sense to hear.

P.S. i have no idea if that made sense or not

You can hear clipping. You can't hear all clipping, especially in the subbass region where you are less sensitive to distortion.

But yes, you can hear the distortion caused by clipping if it's severe enough.

**** dude, i was just reading your sig you seem awfully anti-religous. oh well to each their own
think about it, how are religious beliefs any different from what some schizophrenic believes

does something written in a book make it so.... only those who lived it, know for sure
