Clip city b*tch

You think you know more than everyone, lmao

That have been maintained properly and load-test like new //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

Also, they're built to last 10 years. Says so on their site. Software companies just rotate them out frequently
look ive done isolated power back up power supplies for what we call scada. where we use solor panels that chaarge batteries to power backup power supplies.

typically a battery can last 40-6 years if it does noremally cycle duty. Ive never seen a battery last longer tha 6 years in my LIFE.

I know i know more than everybody. here yall can even provide factual evidence.

souldrop was the closest to actually having a sound background capible to make valid point, except it was text boox like(nothing wrong he was correct in his statements)

yellow top? deep cycles last longer but have a high ISR

if i was being paid id take more time doing so.. but i could careless..

that would be the first battery to ever last that long Ive hear of. I work with batteries, we installed them in secodary PSs and some primary. general rule is even 3 years or half the life cycle we replace them..reguardless in an application where the battery is the power supply and the alts are recharging them on a daily basis.. good luck..

Batteries can last over 6 years...

Even if these did only last 3 more years, they were only $50 a piece..

Tuna laguna..... i had an xs3400 that lasted over 8yrs
it was in the cabin? they typically last longer in the cabin.

fact is he was a fool to buy 3 year old used batteries when he could have gotten 4 new kenetik 2400-pros.. that are designed with a lower esr made for quick discharging/discharge

Here are two sources saying that these batteries designed for SCADA applications have a minimum lifetime of 10 years:

Power Charge X-CEL 6V-12V Batteries | Regal Electro

http://www.battcon.com/PapersFinal2015/18%20Thien%20Paper%202015.pdf

And this one is designed for 20 years:

Tadiran

You're not the only one that works with SCADA. It's a system, you just don't call it that.

the design life and actual life span are different. its more like shelf life and actual life. i assume you do scada and understabd what batteries do in skata systems right? if not dont comment please because your going to just spread mis i formation. if tge battery isnt UL lusted you can throw those specs in the trash..

ive personally never had any battery last longer than 6 years as a primarh starti g bettery. but my god its hot as **** here nearly year round. we really dont have a long winter mabe 2 months and about 6 months of summer and 2 more of spring fall.. hell its 80 degrees today.. lol.

reguardless its highly depant of the load. i would never by ysed batteries peroid. ive never seen any battery last ten years. not even 8. the sealed deep cycles last noticablly longer because of higger resistance to corrsion of the internal components.

reguardless you cant load test a battery 1/4 cycle and say oh its good.

you have to test it a full cycle and recharge it again..
