i wanna take apart my nano too because of the **** *** battery life on these ipods .. but i dunno what to use and where to buy the batteries .. anyone like to help with this situation?

just bought all new face plate, and back plate, along with a tools and battery kit to take it apart on ebay

I used to take about my older iPod lots of times... I fixed a cracked LCD from one off of eBay.

60/80gb iPods are bigger than the smaller version iPods.

Displays don't usually scratch, the housing over the displays do, maybe eBay sells them for cheap?

Batteries are a little harder to replace, there are services online that do it for cheap, I'd go with them.

according to the research i did today at work while i was supposed to be working, the 60 and 80 gb hdd's are thicker than the 30. itll fit in a 30gb ipod, u just gotta get a 60 or 80 gb back panel to allow for the thicker hdd. im gonna actually get an 80gb from walmart, open it, take my 30gb and cracked screen out, switch it with the good screen and 80gb hdd, take back and say it didnt work, while i end up with an 80 gb with new screen ipod that i only paid 50 for //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
