Clearest Components and Coaxials

[STATE]

I am looking at getting a Nakamichi CD-400 cd player. I am looking for the clearest set of 6.5 inch components for the front of my car and the clearest set of 6.5 inch coaxials for the rear of my car? I am not looking for huge bass speakers as I do not listen to music that has sick amounts of bass. Examples of music that I listen to are 311 and Saves the Day. Thanks!

i say u dont get new 6.5's for the rear and use that money for really nice 6.5" component set up front. and an amp to power em of course. With one set of nice components up front sound staging will be much better and ull have more than enough music. There are tons of components to choose from, everyone has their tastes as to whats the best. But look at Rainbow, Focal, Diamond Audio, Crystal, Adire kodas, dynaudio, image dynamics, JL audio. It depends on how much u want to spend.

Around 300 would be nice? OF those brands? Which ones would you guys request? I've read good things about Rainbow, not too much of the other brands. I've heard JL and they are not to my liking. More suggestion help alot.

Cleanest.....DYNAUDIO by far the best, EXPENSIVE but you get what you pay for. You can pick them up on ebay pretty cheap though, Also Diamond Audio Hex, and M6 series are fantastic as well. I havent heard Rainbow personally but I've heard they compare to Dynaudio......Good Luck.....

My favorite speakers have always been Boston Acoustics.. I'm not one that desires my music to sound flat and boring. I like a little sibilance. The people at Tweeter seem to think the more boring the sound (flat) the better.

I heard that Nakamichi makes a CD500 that has a CD shuttle control but I don't think they sell it in the states. Does anyone have any info about this?

ummm u could go with some MB Quartz or some CDTs

I've heard good things about Focal and I really like the K2's. Anyone have any other good words because I am pretty sure these are what I might go for. Dynaudio is also still in mind.
