Ladie's like my pole
I finally installed my new comp set but havent set the amp for them yet. I will be bridging my 4 ch and am pretty sure I need to use y adapters. ATM I dont feel like buying new y adapters because I found some I had laying around. However, the pair I have are 1 male to 2 female instead of 1 female to 2 male. Will I see any difference if I use the pair I have at the HU instead of buying the correct pair and using them at the amp?
If this isnt clear this is what I mean by at the HU
I have two sets of RCAs running to my amp right now for front and rear. I would take one Y adapter and plug the male end into the front left channel of the HU then take the front and rear left channel RCAs and plus them into the female ends. Same thing would be done for the right channel.
further down the road I plan to upgrade my RCA's and will buy better Y adapters so this is really just to get everything setup and working how I want it. Also I am currently going through finals week so this wont be done till next weekend, just want to get a head start and have everything mapped out before I do it.
