Got a new Mercedes Benz CLK 320. I'm looking to install a system. I'm not looking for something that will shatter peoples car at red-lights. I'm wanting a ten, or maby 2 tens, that will sound good inside the car, and have really good quality bass. How about (1) RE 10" ?

Well its obvious you are looking for 'SQ' as opposed to 'SPL', that narrows it down abit. But we need more info. How about a budget? More specific goals? What's the front stage consist of that it will be blending with? Etc.

I had 2 10" RE in my car and replaced them with a single 10" TC db-500 last month. The RE's sounded great, but the single TC has almost the same output and sounds better as well.

I would think the TC 10"oem in a small sealed box would be perfect for what you want

Just finished my TC-1000 10'' install today. Box is about 1.8 cubes tuned to 32hz. It hits a lot harder than I expected. Its very clean and tight. I'm running a US amps MD2D on it... possibly might grab another 10 in a few days to really start using the amp. A 10w6v2 would be nice

W6's are sweet. My buddy's W6 10 puts my L7 to shame in sq; it makes me not even want to listen to it.

I've heard that the Tc-10 Oem are amazing 10's in SQ.

Couple people have already recommended the IDMax, but I think an IDQ would probably suit your needs perfectly. Same great sound quality as the max but not as geared for output.

I have 2-10" ADS subs in my wife's car and they are very clean, tight, and still get loud. I'm getting rid of them unfortunately because we don't stock them anymore and we are switching to MMATS equipment in both cars this year. Great subs though, she expected the clarity when we got them but didn't think tens could do what these do for spl.

yea i wanted to try that 9100 (15" version) but its too expensive... but it does look freakin good, isnt the 9100 their loud SQ driver ?
