Clean and simple. Yay or Nay?

Finally got around to finishing my box. It's the first box i've ever built and I think i did a decent job. Only part i F'd up on is the carpetting, i think its pretty ugly but oh well.

Review:

First impression was teh sub was pretty beefy and heavy but I didn't expect much from it because it was a 10 and I've had some pretty bad experiences with 10's. but after i heard it i was pretty impressed. Awesome SQ and gets decently loud. Comparing it to my 2 12" RL-p's, I like the SQ from this set up much much more however it doesn't get as loud.

I am satisfied with this set up and I think I'm gonna keep this one for a while. If I ever do change it up i'm gonna add another 10.

What do you guys think of it?

I like the idea but since I have never carpeted I can't say much besides could be a little cleaner? I woulda pushed the amp rack back to be flush with the face of the enclosure instead of beyond it but yeah. It's cool.

It looks pretty impressive. If you're gonna stick with that setup for a while, I would recarpet it if it bothers you.

Some suggestions for carpeting is to make the least amounts of cuts as possible. Try to keep the carpet all in one piece with maybe 3 major seems (Bottom, and two X patterns in the side). Another way to simplfy the carpeting process is to either use Bj's rabbited edges or use a overhang.

I am overall really happy with this set up. It hits the lows alot better then my RL-P's. The carpet doesnt really bother me much only when you look at it closely. How hard is it to rip off carpet that has already been glued on by 3m adhesive spray?

Box specs are 1.2cu @ 35hz

port area is 30.375in

I'm gonna get a new dustcap for it too what do you think i should go with. I already contacted scott from Fi and Tuan said he can get me some RE dustcaps also. I don't know which will look better.
