maybe now, imagine 20 years ago when theyd only been sitting for 10 years or 15 years...Most of those cars probably aren't worth dick. It would cost a lot more to restore them than you could sell them for. Unless you found some guy who doesn't know anything about classic cars and just likes the way they look.
My dad and uncles collect classic/muscle cars. I go to a lot of shows and see the price tags and how much it costs to do a full restoration. The big $ cars are numbers matching with NOS (new old stock) parts and paint. My dad just had to part with his 1966 Corvette convertible with a 427, but it didn't originally come with a 427....or else it would have been big $$$. If you look closely, you can even see the 427 badges and everything. This is a couple year old pic.....dog has since died and my dad had put side pipes on the vette.maybe now, imagine 20 years ago when theyd only been sitting for 10 years or 15 years...
i was commenting on the shape they're in, not their worth due to the model or whatever. so if you're saying they aren't worth dick because of their trim package or whatever, i don't care. if you were saying they're not worth dick because they're in shit shape, then what does your quote to me have to do with anythingMy dad and uncles collect classic/muscle cars.
